Just a few months after joining the LEGO Mario universe, Luigi is getting three unique LEGO expansion sets. These new kits are based on the fantastic Luigi’s Mansion series and include classic characters like King Boo, Professor E. Gadd, and the Polterpup.

Of the three Luigi’s Mansion sets, Haunt-and-Seek looks the most exciting. It places you in a mansion with rotating hallways, ghost battles, and other obstacles from the Luigi’s Mansion games.

The Lab and Poltergust set is also cool (it includes a ghost vacuum accessory for Luigi), and the Mansion entryway set lets you reenact the classic boss fight with Bogmire.

Here are the new Luigi’s Mansion sets, plus expected pricing:

  • Luigi’s Mansion Lab and Poltergust Expansion Set ($29.95)
  • Luigi’s Mansion Entryway Expansion Set ($39.99)
  • Luigi’s Mansion Haunt-and-Seek Expansion Set ($79.99)

You can combine these three sets to make a huge mansion, or use them separately. Just keep in mind that none of these expansion sets come with Mario or Luigi LEGO figurines. For those, you need to buy the Luigi Starter Course or Mario Starter Course. (Both Mario and Luigi work with the Luigi’s Mansion sets.)

While it’s nice to see LEGO give Luigi a little love, we’re just a bit bummed that these Luigi’s Mansion sets didn’t come out in time for Halloween. In fact, they won’t launch until January of 2022 … Mama mia!
