Before TikTok and Netflix streaming, every kid on the block had an aluminum Razor kick scooter. And if you were lucky, one with LED lights in the wheels. If you’re looking for nostalgic fun and want to feel like a kid again, get the all-new Razor Icon, an electric scooter.
First launched in 2000, the Razor A scooter was an instant success, and they were all over the streets, in mall parking lots, and at school. Forget Heely’s or Soap shoes, every kid had or wanted a Razor scooter.
Well, now you can relive the good ol’ days or show your kids how it’s done on the Razor Icon electric scooter. It’s the same aircraft-grade aluminum design, meaning it can handle 360-degree heel whips, fakies, or handle-bar spin stunts if you dare. Just watch your ankles. Plus, it retains the popular folding portable design, even though this scooter is slightly bigger than the original and “rated for ages 18 and up.”
The Razor Icon is about 26lbs and can hit speeds of 18 MPH thanks to a new 350-watt motor inside the rear wheel. Better yet, the 36-volt rechargeable battery promises around 18 miles of range without having to wear out your shoes. It comes with bigger 8.5-inch solid rubber tires that’ll never go flat, and thankfully, Razor kept the heel brake on the back.
This nifty redesign of a classic features three different speed modes, a thumb throttle, and safety features like an included LED headlight, brake-activated taillight, and an LED display showing speed, range, top speed, and a 4-stage battery life meter.
You’ll still get the same retractable kickstand, a folding design, and there’s even a built-in locking point for riders to secure this expensive scooter. However, it looks like battery life is only around 60-minutes, so you’ll want to plan out any routes or skate park trips.
The Razor Icon electric scooter comes in five fun colors and retails for $599. Grab one today from the link below.
