Facebook Now Lets You Join Voice and Video Calls Already In Progress

Facebook has quickly become one of the de facto ways to keep up with your family, simply because everyone’s on it. If you want to start a voice or video chat with someone, it’s as easy as clicking a button. Adding a new person to that chat was less easy, until now.

Previously, if you wanted to add someone to a voice or video call, you had to hang up and start a new chat that included everyone you wanted to talk to. Now, you can search for the person’s name and add them to a call that’s already in progress. They’ll be able to jump into the call without interrupting your ongoing conversation.

This new feature is rolling out now to Android and iOS. If you’re not seeing it, wait for the update to come to your phone, then install the update. After that, you should see a new “Add Person” icon while in a voice or video call. Tap it and add as many friends as you can comfortably talk to in one conversation!
