If you want a compact fast charger that can fit in almost any pocket, you need one that includes gallium nitride (GaN). The superconductor doesn’t have the thermal and electrical transfer limitations of silicon and allows for chargers more than half the size of a 13-inch Macbook power supply. If you’re in the market for one, Aukey is announcing five of them.
You can see Aukey’s entire lineup in the photo below. The models are listed from left to right and deliver Power Delivery (PD) over USB-C:

- Omnia 65W Dual-Port PD Wall Charger
- Omnia 65W Dual-Port PD Wall Charger
- Omnia 100W PD Wall Charger
- Omnia 100W Dual-Port PD Wall Charger
Aukey is making its Omnia Series in collaboration with Navitas, the maker of the industry’s first GaN power integrated circuits (IC). Each of these chargers include a brand new OmniaChip IC that help regulate energy use and increase switching speeds. Plus, thanks to the company’s “Dynamic Detect technology,” there’s almost no limit to what devices these accessories can charge.
Unfortunately, the Omnia Series won’t be available until later this year, with Aukey specifically quoting Q2 of 2020. Pricing is also not available at this time. The chargers will be sold in black and white colorways.
