It seems like everybody makes a podcast nowadays, and that’s great for people who want that outlet. However, it can be difficult to find stuff to listen to given just how many there are. Pocket Casts’ latest update hopes to make podcast discovery a bit less painful with a revamped Discover tab.

As the name insinuates, the Discover tab is where you can find and add new shows. The newest addition to the Discover tab is Network Highlights, which are curated podcast lists from specific publishers. For example, it could be a list of true crime podcasts from Wondery or tech podcasts from Vox Media.

Publishers included in the first Network Highlights will include Wondery, WNYC, Podglomerate, Maximum Fun, Vox Media, Earwolf, NPR, and Radiotopia.

Next up is Curated Lists. Instead of curated podcast lists from networks, you’ll see curated podcasts lists from human curators, which includes stuff they’re currently listening to right now. The first set of curators will include Marques Brownlee (better known as MKBHD), Caroline Crampton, Matt Gourley, James Kim, Jenny Kaplan, Justin McElroy, Kathy Tu, and Arielle Duhaime-Ross.

According to Pocket Casts, Curated Lists will roll out sometime in February. Also, if you don’t see Network Highlights, you’re not the only one—I haven’t seen the new section from the update yet, which should be rolling out now to all iOS and Android users.
