Nomad Offers Half Off its Thicc Kevlar Cables When You Buy a Wireless Charger

We’re big fans of boutique tech accessory maker Nomad, both for its wireless chargers and its thicc USB-C cables. (The cables are thicc with two Cs, because there’s one C at each end.) For the next week or so, the company is offering half off the purchase of any of its Kevlar-reinforced cables if you buy a Base Station.

Now, that’s a serious chunk of change—the Base Station wireless charger starts at $100 and goes up to $150 with the Apple Watch charger built in. And even at half off, those cables are still pretty pricey. But if you’re looking for a way to class up your desk or night stand, and also a cable that can be used to moor an aircraft carrier, it’s a good discount.

The cables eligible for this combo, in various length, are as follows:

  • USB-C to USB-C
  • USB-A to Lightning
  • USB-C to Lightning
  • USB-A to MicroUSB/USB-C/Lightning
  • USB-C to MicroUSB/USB-C/Lightning
  • MicroUSB/USB-C to USB-C/USB-A
  • MicroUSB/USB-C to USB-C/USB-A

The discounts are applied automatically when you have both the Base Station and a cable in your card on the Nomad store.
