Spotify is rolling out an update to iOS and Android users right now, and it tweaks the home page in useful ways. Anyone who found it annoying to get back to your favorite music and recently played tracks will find lots to love in the new look. It puts all that and your paused music and podcasts in an easy-to-reach place on the home screen.
Now when you open the Spotify app, you’ll be greeted by a list of your favorites right at the top. Throughout the day, Spotify will change up the song and podcasts it shows and the greeting (Good Morning, Afternoon, Evening) to keep things fresh. Scroll down some, and you’ll find recently played lists, a jump back in section, and recommendations from Spotify.

Not all of that is new, of course, but putting a favorites section built from your frequently played music and posts right up top is a welcome addition to the app.
All the recent changes should make it easy for you to get to the content you love and discover new stuff along the way. That’s a win all around. Spotify says the updated home menu is rolling out to users now, and we already see it on our devices.
