Fresh off the leaks yesterday, Ring has officially announced the new Ring Video Doorbell 3 and Video Doorbell 3 Plus. Additionally, the company made the new Ring Chime and Ring Chime Pro official as well. The Ring Doorbell 3 will set you back $199 and you can pre-order it today. The Ring Video Doorbell 3 Plus will be $299, and you can order it on April 8th.
As hinted at in the leaks, the new doorbells feature enhanced Wi-Fi radios, including 5 GHz support, which should help with streaming and congestion. Of course, the big new feature for the updated Ring Doorbell 3 Plus is “Pre-roll.”
Pre-roll will show video from up to four seconds before your doorbell detected motion, just in case it missed anything. Here’s a video demonstration of the feature.
Amazon also updated Ring Chime and Chime Pro, set at $30 and $50, respectively. They take on a newer, nicer look than the original chimes, and the Chime Pro doubles as a Wi-Fi extender and nightlight.

You can pre-order the Rin Video Doorbell 3 today, and they’ll ship out on April 8th. You can order the Video Doorbell 3 Plus on April 8th. That is if you trust Ring to handle your security.
