If you’re tired on Nintendo’s weird right-focused button layout on the Switch, or you just want a really good wireless controller for a great deal, let your fingers do the walking over to Amazon. The 8BitDo SN30 Pro+ is $10 off today, just $40 for one of the best Switch controllers around. It works on PC and mobile, too.

We reviewed the SN30 Pro+ last year, and loved it. While the styling is decidedly retro with its Super Nintendo layout and color scheme, the controller has all the inputs you need for modern games, including motion controls and rumble. It uses a rechargable battery (with a USB-C port) or AAs, whichever you prefer.

And best of all, you can connect it to your PC to reprogram the buttons and adjust the sensitivity of the analog sticks and triggers. It even has separate profiles for PC and Switch games!

Amazon’s stock is running low, with just five left at the time of writing. If you can’t get one when you check, try Best Buy instead—they’re also offering the SN30 Pro+ for $40. Oh, and note the precise model name: 8BitDo has several similar but older controller models in that series, which don’t feature programming function.

This excellent retro controller works on PC and Switch, and lets you program your buttons for both.
