The Matrix has you… Or at least, it will have you for the duration of an eight-hour binge. As of today, the entire Matrix trilogy is available for streaming on Netflix.

The Matrix franchise launched 21 years ago, on March 31, 1999. It stars a young Keanu Reeves who, after meeting a pair of mysterious cyber-weirdos, discovers that reality is just a simulation. And while this plot doesn’t sound too unique today, The Matrix’s impact on pop culture, filmmaking, and CGI is hard to overstate.

If you haven’t been down the Matrix rabbit hole in a few years, then now’s your opportunity for a quick refresher to get ready for the upcoming Matrix 4. We still have a while to wait for that one, of course—the film is slated to release on May 21, 2021, but like other movies, is facing likely delays due to COVID-19.

Oh well. At least we still have the first three.
