In many places around the world right now, local stay-at-home and essential business-only orders have forced restaurants to shut down dining areas. But, those rules usually come with a takeout and delivery exception. To that end, Google Maps has new takeout and delivery shortcuts to help you find a quick bite to eat.

As first reported by 9to5Google, the shortcuts seem to be rolling out now to iOS and Android Google Maps users. The feature itself isn’t new, but Google is changing things up to bring the shortcuts to the forefront.

Open Google Maps, and you can tap on restaurants to get to the new shortcuts. Tapping on either takeout or delivery will perform a quick search for local restaurants offering the options.

We already see the shortcuts on devices, and according to 9to5Google, the shortcuts are showing up in France as well. Google may be rolling out the change worldwide. Given we all still have to eat, and sometimes eating out is the best option, it’s nice to have a quick way to find restaurants that are still open during the pandemic.
