The Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL Are Cheaper Than Ever, Starting at $500

The excellent Pixel 4 and 4 XL, which have the best cameras that we’ve ever seen on a phone, are $300 off until May 9th. If you’ve been hankering to own a Pixel 4, then you can buy one unlocked for just $500 right now. This discount applies to the Google Store, Best Buy, and Amazon.

An unlocked Pixel 4 or 4 XL will work with any carrier. You don’t have to visit a physical location to get these phones working, you just take the SIM card out of your old phone and stick it in your new Pixel device.

We expect Google to release its budget Pixel 4a  phone sometime this year, which should hit around the $400 price point. For reference, Google launched its 3a and 3a XL devices for $400 and $480, respectively. While the word on the street suggests that there won’t be a 4a XL this year, that should still give you an idea of what to expect.

In the meantime, a $500 Pixel 4 is an absolutely stellar option—possibly even better than a $400 4a when it does launch. Discounts like this don’t come very often, so now’s the time to decide how you want to spend your money.
