We’ve been waiting for the iPad Pro Magic Keyboard, and it’s finally here. Apple is selling the Magic Keyboard today, and orders should arrive next week. This fancy new keyboard, which has a built-in trackpad, only works with the 11-inch and 12.9 iPad Pro and starts at $300.

Apple announced the Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro last month to serious fanfare. It’s a full-sized scissor-styled keyboard with adjustable viewing angles, a sexy design, and a built-in multi-touch trackpad. It makes the iPad Pro look eerily similar to MacBooks, and doesn’t obscure the iPad’s USB-C port, speakers, or Apple Pencil charging magnet.

Like Apple’s Smart Folio keyboard, the iPad Pro Magic Keyboard connects to the iPad magnetically. It doesn’t use Bluetooth, and it doesn’t need to be charged. It’s built to work with the 2018 and 2020 versions of the iPad Pro and is not compatible with other models of iPad.

If you want a trackpad keyboard for your iPad or iPad Air, then keep an eye out for the Logitech Combo Touch keyboard case, which starts at $150 is made specifically for smaller iPad models.
