Trying to find a way to introduce someone to the internet and the digital world when it’s foreign to them (and they don’t like computers) is tough. But you can make that task easier by picking the right hardware.
In a batch of DLC for Breath of the Wild, Link hit full mid-life crisis and got a motorcycle. Now, Link and his hog are where they really belong: in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
The new DLC update to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for the Switch is free and available right now. The update is small, but it’s worth it. You can now pick Link from Breath of the Wild as a playable character, as well as the Master Cycle Zero that was added to the Zelda game in a recent update. You’ll also find Ancient Tires and a new glider, to complete that BotW look.

It’s not a bad addition to a game that’s already solid on the Switch. If you haven’t picked it up in a little while, this might be as good a reason as any to pick it up over the weekend and go a few more times around the track.
