Home arcade machines come in sizes small and large, but usually if you want two-player you’ll have to go large and expensive. My Arcade’s latest Street Fighter II: Champion edition Micro Player machine might hit the best of both worlds. It’s small, $50, and you can hook two together for multiplayer.

My Arcade’s lineup of micro arcade machines is already pretty impressive and includes the likes of Burger TimePac-ManSpace Invaders, and Contra. But its newest Street Fighter II: Champion Edition might appeal to arcade lovers young and old.

The arcade unit has everything you’d expect: six mechanical buttons for gameplay, a joystick, a 3.5″ backlit display, and front-facing speakers. But it also includes extras you won’t find on some full-sized arcade machines, let alone micro players. That includes a backlit marquee, faux coin trap door, optional wired or battery power, and the ability to hook up two for multi-player mode. While it doesn’t include the micro-usb cable for power, it does come with the cable you need to connect two units.

The unit is 1/10th scale and features artwork from the original Street Fighter II: Champion Edition machine. You only get the one game, but there are apparently some hidden Easter Eggs. Amir Navid, SVP Product Development and Creative Director, at My Arcade, said “Our Micro Player captures the nostalgia of this gaming icon in a small but fully playable collectable. Ideal for any home and small enough to take with you everywhere. We’ve added features to let you go head to head with friends, and there’s even some cool hidden features that we hope fans will enjoy.”

You can purchase the My Arcade Street Fighter 2: Champion Edition Micro Player on Amazon or at My Arcade’s site today.
