If you have a phone plan through Cricket Wireless, you’re getting a special treat: free HBO Max. Of course, the offer isn’t without a few catches and sacrifices; the most noteworthy of which is that it’s only the ad-supported tier.

To be eligible, you will need to be on the carrier’s $60 per month Unlimited plan, which is its most expensive plan. Despite that, however, this is a terrific (and affordable) way to enjoy the popular video streaming service without putting any additional strain on your budget.

HBO Max plays host to HBO’s extensive library of excellent content, including Euphoria, Game of Thrones, Succession, His Dark Materials, Westworld, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, Lovecraft Country, Watchmen, The Sopranos, and Silicon Valley, among others. There is no word yet regarding whether or not customers will be allowed to pay the difference for an upgrade to an ad-free plan.

It’s rare for U.S. prepaid phone customers to receive such an outstanding offer at no extra cost. So, if you are eligible, we recommend taking advantage of this one and getting caught up on all of your favorite shows.
