Hulu’s Latest Change Gives You Another Reason to Bundle Your Streaming Services

As of October 8th, Hulu will charge $1 extra for its standard and ad-free streaming tiers, bringing their respective prices up to $7 and $13 a month. But there’s a silver lining here—Disney’s streaming bundles are retaining their original price, making them a better deal than ever before.

In case you missed it, Disney offers a $13 service bundle featuring Disney+, ESPN+, and ad-supported Hulu (or $19 a month if you want ad-free Hulu). Taking the Hulu price increase into account, these bundles offer a whopping $7 in savings each month or $84 in savings per year.

Students also have the option to bundle Spotify, Hulu, and Showtime for just $5 a month. That’s less than the price of Hulu on its own!

It’s worth noting that Hulu with Live TV will not experience a price increase. Of course, paying $65 a month for Hulu’s Live TV service isn’t a bargain unless you’re switching from cable (and even then, it may not be a bargain).
