Experience

Kim began writing for the school newspaper at Virginia Tech while she was an undergrad. From there, she has worked as a print journalist for a local paper in Virginia, an English-language newspaper in Prague, Czech Republic, and covered economic policy on Capitol Hill and the Treasury Department in Washington, D.C.

Over her career, she has written and edited thousands of articles for publication. As an economics reporter, she has honed her ability to explain complex and obscure issues in a way that is accessible to a wider audience.

Kim recently moved from the D.C. area to the Gulf Coast of Florida with her husband and baby boy. She enjoys cooking, gardening, bird-watching, swimming and photography.

Education

Kim has a bachelor's degree in English from Virginia Tech and a master's degree in International Commerce and Policy from George Mason University.
