Happy Wednesday! Amazon announced the new line of Fire HD tablets yesterday, both for adults and kids. The HD 10 and 10 Plus are faster and sleeker than previous generations, but more interestingly, Amazon is selling “productivity bundles” that include a keyboard and subscription to Microsoft Office 365. Fascinating.
The Fire HD 10 Kids tablets are equally as interesting because Amazon is offering an HD 10 Kids Pro tablet now—you know, for those kids who are too old for a Fire HD Kids tablet but not old enough for a regular tablet. The differences between the two are mostly in software, but again, it’s an interesting concept.
As always, the prices are great. The Fire HD 10 starts at just $150, with both versions of the Fire HD 10 Kids going for just $199.
