It’s that time of year again, iPhone season. Yesterday, Apple announced the new iPhone 13, and as always, it comes with more power and features. For my money, the new Cinematic mode was the real stand out addition to the new phones. And as is the norm, you have four sizes and two models (Pro and not Pro) you can buy.
The more surprising news came in the iPad section, partly because we weren’t truly expecting new iPads today. And I do mean plural because on top of the latest entry-level iPad getting some minor updates, the iPad mini got a huge overhaul. It almost makes it difficult to decide between the two. Cybersecurity researchers at Citizen Lab have discovered new spyware that infects Apple devices through iMessage. Victims are infected through a zero-click exploit, meaning that the spyware can affect your device even if you don’t open or download a message attachment.
