We’re hard at work covering all the tech announcements at CES 2022 in Las Vegas, and to my surprise, Mercedes-Benz’s (virtual) showcase is the thing that’s impressed me the most. The automaker showed off its Vision EQXX concept EV, a car that can travel 648 miles on a single charge thanks to its insane power efficiency.
Here’s the short of it; the Mercedes-Benz Vision EQXX can travel over 60 miles using just 10kWh of power. That’s about as much electricity you spend running the A/C for three hours, and if this thing were a gas guzzler, it’d travel at 235 miles-per-gallon. Check out our top story to learn more about the Vision EQXX, the magic behind its engineering, and its weird mushroom-leather upholstery.

The Eve smart home company kicked off CES 2022 by launching its first pair of smart blinds, and they solve one of the biggest problems we have with other motorized Wi-Fi window shades.
Mercedes-Benz unveiled its Vision EQXX concept vehicle during a virtual presentation at CES 2022, and yeah, this thing lives up to the hype. Not only does the EQXX feature an obscene 648-mile range, but it’s the most efficient EV ever made—it can travel over 60 miles (around 100 kilometers) using just 10kWh of energy. Read More »
We’ve found that there’s nothing better than gaming on a huge 4K projector, which may explain why BenQ is so adamant about building its gaming projector lineup. The company’s previous offerings, like the HT3550, were an overwhelming success. And later this year, BenQ will push things even further with its X3000i 4K LED gaming projector. Read More »
When Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 FE back in 2020, its $700 sticker price felt groundbreaking. We called the phone “fancy but frugal” in our detailed review, as it was arguably the best bargain flagship of its day. Well, it’s funny how things change. Samsung just announced the Galaxy S21 FE, and even with that same $700 price tag, it’s a hard sell in 2022. Read More »

Multipoint is one of those Bluetooth features that manufacturers and customers tend to overlook, and I really can’t figure out why. It lets you connect earbuds with multiple devices at once, eliminating the need to re-pair the Bluetooth signal as you jump from your phone to your laptop. Now, Jabra says it’s bringing Multipoint to the Elite 7 Pro and Elite 7 Active, and I couldn’t be happier. Read More »

The screen protector’s high-quality 9H tempered glass is rigid yet ultra-thin, and comfortable to the touch. It’s also oleophobic and hydrophobic, to help keep it clean and smudge-free.
When people ask me which ultra-affordable phone they should buy, I usually tell them to avoid anything with gimmicks like giant camera arrays or 5G support. These features are often poorly executed in budget phones, yet they come at the expense of battery life or other important specs. But AT&T and Samsung may have completely flipped the script.
