Every so often, one of those fear-mongering “forward this to everyone you know!” posts goes around about EVs. And it wants to warn you of the “danger of EVs” that “no one is talking about.” The idea is supposedly that when traffic jams inevitably happen, EV owners will be in danger, since the cars will run out of power, be unable to run heat or A/C, and no one can come to save them. But is that actually true? Are EVs more dangerous in a traffic jam than regular cars? We dig into the assumption in the top story. Other highlights: - Sarah took a look at Logitech’s new MX Mechanical Mini—the mechanical keyboard that doesn’t take up a lot of room. And it’s pretty darn good!
- It turns out that DuckDuckGo isn’t as private as you thought.
- The new LEGO Ferrari Daytona SP3 Edition looks so darn good.
- …and more!
